What Is Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care?
PPEC is a licensed, AHCA-regulated medical facility designed for children who require skilled nursing care beyond what traditional daycare or home care alone can provide. Unlike daycare, PPEC delivers medical-level care based on each child's individualized physician orders.
At Blessed Pediatric Care, your child receives continuous nursing supervision, physician-ordered therapies, nutritional support, and developmental enrichment — all in a safe, nurturing medical environment designed specifically for children with complex needs.
Comprehensive PPEC Medical Services
Every service is physician-ordered and integrated into your child's individualized plan of care.
Skilled Pediatric Nursing
Continuous nursing care by experienced Registered Nurses trained in pediatric medical support, medication administration, and emergency response.
Extended Care Hours
Up to 12 hours of supervised medical care per day, allowing families to maintain employment while their child receives expert attention.
Medical Monitoring
Continuous health monitoring for technology-dependent and medically fragile children, including ventilator care, tracheostomy management, and G-tube feeding.
Integrated Therapies
Physician-ordered Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy integrated into each child's daily care plan for consistent developmental progress.
Nutritional Support
Physician-guided nutrition programs and balanced meals tailored to each child's dietary requirements and medical needs.
Developmental Services
Age-appropriate activities and enrichment programs designed to support cognitive, social, and emotional development alongside medical care.
